Dinard tourist information

where to go - what to see - what to do

Dinard started out as a little fishing village and has grown into a chic coastal resort that rivals that of the Cote d'Azur.  It has been particularly favoured by the English since the mid-19th-century for its Belle Epoque ambience, elegant mansions, cafés and good beaches.  To add to its charm, Dinard comes alive in summer with carnivals, regattas and ballets on the social agenda.  A festival of British film even takes place here at the start of October!

There is some good coastal walking around Dinard with rewarding views.  Try the scenic path 'Promenade du Clair de Lune' which winds it way up from the Plage du Prieure over the port and up to the Pointe du Molinet.  From here you'll be able to look over to St-Malo which is easily accessible in a daytrip from Dinard.  Just around the headline you'll also find the secluded stretch of beach at St-Enogat.
