Porto tourist information

where to go - what to see - what to do

Porto is an easy-going seaside resort renowned for its stunning sunsets and outcrops of red granite rock that make up the Calanche coastline.  Due to its varied flora and fauna, the Golfe de Porto has now become a UNESCO World Heritage Site with trips out to the Scandola nature reserve increasingly popular.

There are also some stunning villages to uncover namely Piana which is a good starting point for coastal walks and the mountain villages of Ota and Evisa.  The Gorges de la Spelunca, east of Porto, are also worth investigating!
